On Saturday I decided to do a Facebook LIVE video of our Mesothelioma story. I had been seeing and hearing people on Facebook all week sharing their stories for various reasons. I had also been seeing the horrendous articles regarding asbestos in schools. I really felt like I needed to do something to raise awareness that would get attention and actually be seen and heard. I had gone LIVE several times already on Facebook, for the relaunch of the Papworth Mesothelioma Social Group and for my newly launched Younique business. I knew it was a fantastic tool.

Oh Claire - thank you so much for sharing your story. I was diagnosed just before christmas. So many things you say have seem so familiar! Im a bit older than Paul - 49. Similar as nothing fits - i cant ever recall being exposed to asbestos. In my free time i am (well was) training as an edurance athelte - doing ultra marathons and Iron man triathlons. At present just using my previous fitness to get me through the first while.
